Chicken Fried Rice Recipe


This is a classic staple of the Chinese restaurant.  A sure winner.


Ingredients:

3/4 tsp. Sesame Oil

1/2 Onion

14 oz. Chicken, cubed

1 Tbsp. & 1/2 tsp. Soy Sauce

1 Celery Stalks, chopped

1/2 large Red Bell Pepper, diced

1/4 large Green Bell Pepper, diced

1/4 Cup & 3 Tbsp. fresh Pea Pods, halved

1 large Carrot, diced

3 1/2 Cups White Rice, cooked

1 Egg, scrambled

1/3 Cup Soy Sauce


Directions:

Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat.  Add the onion and stir-fry until it’s soft, and then add the chicken, and 2 Tbsp. of soy sauce and stir-fry for 6 minutes.


Stir in the celery, bell peppers, pea pods, and carrot for 5 minutes.  Add in the cooked rice, and continue to stir thoroughly.


Lastly, stir in the scrambled egg and the last soy sauce and heat thoroughly, and serve.
