Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe


This is a great dish, so tasty, and the chicken is so moist.


Ingredients:

8 large Skinless & Boneless Chicken Breasts

Salt and Pepper

8 Slices Smoked Ham

8 Slices Swiss Cheese

1 Egg, beaten

1 Cup Seasoned Flour

1 Cup Breadcrumbs

Wooden Toothpicks


Directions:

Slice the chicken breasts, in the middle, long-ways, like a butterfly.


Season the butterflied chicken with salt and pepper.  Place the ham and cheese on the inside of each piece of chicken, then fold the breast back together.


Coat each piece with flour, and dip them in the egg and roll them in the breadcrumbs, covering completely.  Then close each breast with a toothpick.


Bake in a casserole dish at 400 degrees F for 40 minutes.
